about: Mahoney Perkins

I co-founded Urban Folk Art Studios in Brooklyn in 1991 and have exhibited artwork in NYC, the Bay Area, and Louisiana. In 2020, I relocated to my family’s home ranch in Norwood, Louisiana, where I built a 40x60 art studio dedicated to creating new works and cataloging past projects. Through JWLKPress, I produce zines, booklets, stickers, and other creative projects. This site serves as a hub for my work and aims to foster a broader artistic community.
