Crescent City Shop Towel

JWLKPress / Printed by Mahoney Perkins for inaugural Printember Print Fest held in Bywater at Chemical14 Gallery on Royal St 9/20/25. There are a few left of a total run of 40 first edition prints. Cotton tea towel 27"x27" printed with speedball textile ink.

The text says 'Les Betes du Carre Oblie' which stands for 'the creatures of the forgotten square'. It's a play on words and imagery, the boats and Crescent City Bridge in New Orleans as swamp animals. The 'City that Care Forgot' is an old NO saying and Vieux Carre being old square is a name of the French Quarter. Hand Printed in East Feliciana Parish, Louisiana. Cheers!- MP
